NEW DELHI: The condition of Congress president Sonia Gandhi, undergoing treatment for lower respiratory tract infection, is improving and she went through breathing exercises without any problem on Sunday, doctors said.
"Mrs Gandhi is feeling better and her condition is stable. She has undergone breathing exercises without any problem. She will remain under observation and treatment in hospital on Sunday," said Dr Arup Kumar Basu, senior consultant and chairman, department of respiratory medicine, Sir Ganga Ram Hospital.
Her condition will again be reviewed on Monday morning.
68-year-old Gandhi was admitted to the hospital on Thursday evening with lower respiratory tract infection and breathing difficulty.
