Product Manager- Electrical (agri Product), 9 - 14 years exp, Pune

A) Introduction of New Products / Variants., Positioning/POP development, Product Launches.

Assessing customer needs and mapping the product modification needs


Arriving at the final priority list of developments and creating a plan of action thereon


Product Planning for timing, resources, development, prototypes, evaluation and launch.


Coordination with cross-functional teams to achieve timeline of Project.


Managing New Product Development cycle


Formulation of product profile based on Market needs


Product Support while Launch of New Models, Sales promotion and Customer service


Positioning and Featuring of product in the market


Prepare marketing brief for new products.


Create Feature and Specification manuals


Creating all collaterals for field sales


B) Product Pricing & monitoring the schemes/activities for targeted contribution.


Coordination with CFT for costing & working on final price as per management guidelines on contribution


Analysis of competition schemes & launching schemes for gaining market share by keeping contribution at same level


Support to field team for field activities by analysing & offering timely activity support


Monitoring of sales & mkt share growth & taking corrective action to further improve on that


C) Monitoring product performance and addressing field concerns, leading to better product.


Site visits to conduct feature comparison and productivity and fuel consumption trials of the products vis--vis competition machines.


Driving the product analysis on performance parameters


Periodic Customer visits to assess product problems and coordination with service and Engineering for resolution.


Preparation and conduct of product training.


Preparation of sales flashes on product, new applications and competitive superiority.


Technical Support to field sales
