Key Responsibilities & Accountabilities of the Role
Primary Responsibilities: Cluster Manager will be responsible for all the outlets in 20-25 in the cluster. He will have 3-4 territory managers under him. Some of the key responsibilities of Cluster Manager will be:
Network Expansion:
Plan the expansion within the cluster Identify potential towns/city, Identify the potential catchments/location within the city/town, prepare strategy to identify and prospect the potential partners in each location. Also, he should identify and implement interventions required to shrink the prospecting to LOI time
Funnel management ensure territory managers have enough prospects in the funnel to pitch for franchise partnership and qualify prospect to the next level. Plan with territory managers how to fill more leads in the funnel
Managing Territory Managers- Manage Territory Managers calendar and travel plan to ensure focus on the right geographies, to ensure funnel of prospects is full. Plan with TMs the campaigns and activities they should do to fill more leads in funnel
Land bank Create a land/property bank in the targeted catchments/locations where MFCS sees potential of appointing a Franchise workshop, so that any potential partner who is looking for land can be assisted immediately.
Network Development - Prospecting and convincing prospects which have been selected and screened by the territory managers initially. Also, stop any prospect who does not look promising. Also, as a part of due diligence, conduct field visit of the proposed site and catchment and submitting report on same before the panel interview
Coordination with Franchise Team, HO
Update the funnel information to National Manager Franchise daily
Coordinate with HO team for due diligence initiation, panel interview scheduling, LOI signing
Coordinate with HO during LOI to LOA phase
Franchise Operations
After LOI ensure timely completion of work and workshop operations starts as per plan function as a Project Manager during LOI to LOA phase
Manage relationship with Franchise owner through regular communication, visits and meetings
Review the monthly Business Development plan with Franchise Owner and Territory Manager; provide feedback for improvement
Analyze the monthly P&L statements of franchise workshops and submit a monthly report on Cluster performance to HO
Provide feedback to franchise owner based on the analysis of P&L statements, assist Franchise owner in creating an action plan to improve
Provide regular feedback to HO on franchise concerns and interventions required
Integrate the reports (P&L, audits, Training, CSI etc) of all the territory managers and share the same with home office
Escalate issues beyond cluster control to the Franchise Team Head in HQ
Ensuring compliance of the audit findings
Secondary Responsibilities: BTL campaigns planning for the cluster, key strategic tie ups for business development, managing and strengthening relationship with Insurance companies
