KOKRAJHAR: Three persons of a family, including two women, were shot dead and an infant seriously injured by militants in Assam's Baksa district late on Thursday, police sources said.
A group of unidentified extremists entered the house of the family near Ananda Bazar area and fired randomly, killing the three on the spot, the sources said.
The assailants fled after committing the crime, they said. The infant received bullet injuries and was admitted to hospital, the sources said.
