HYDERABAD: AICC general secretary in-charge of Andhra Pradesh Digvijay Singh reiterated here on Thursday that he would marry TV anchor Amrita Rai once divorce was granted to her.
Speaking to the media in the city, he said he had nothing to hide as far as his relationship with Amrita Rai was concerned.
"Unlike Narendra Modi, the BJP's prime ministerial candidate, I will not hide it. I have courage of conviction and I have courage to face the consequences. Narendra Modi is a coward. He has hidden his wife for 30 years. Whatever, it is a private matter, I made it public. Because I want the people to understand that I have nothing to hide," he said, adding that his marriage with Rai would take place once divorce is granted to her.
Digvijay, along with TPCC president Ponnala Laksmaiah, called on Kondeti Sridhar, party's candidate in Wardhannapet Assembly constituency, who is undergoing treatment after a suicide attempt.
