Women voters feel pinch of price rise more than male counterparts: Shaina NC

LUCKNOW: National spokesperson of BJP Shaina NC, who migrated to politics from the world of fashion urged the women voters of Lucknow to act as agents of change for the government at the Centre. Seeking votes in support of BJP chief Rajnath Singh in Lucknow's Hanuman Setu area, Krishnanagar and a number of other localities, Shaina said, "It is the women who eventually have to face the brunt of price rise and corruption, and hence they know these evils better than the men to a great extent." She further added that there is a Modi wave in the country and god candidates from the party are substantiating it.

When asked to comment on the fashion statement of Modi, and any suggestions to improve the fashion quotient, Shaina said, "Modi is immaculately dressed," and admitted that in public life, when she speaks about social issues, the public takes her seriously, but if she makes any comment pertaining to the fashion quotient of any individual, the quotient of seriousness fizzles out.

She also expressed her displeasure on the statement of SP supremo Mulayam Singh Yadav vis-a-vis the rapists and said that the statement only reflects the regressive mindset of the SP chief. Replying to another question pertaining to the conventional dress of the Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh, the BJP national spokesperson and treasurer of Maharashtra BJP said, "As far as the RSS is concerned, let me tell you that thought process is more important that the dress."
