Analytics Development
Leads projects that allow delivery of a full suite of business intelligence services to internal and external clients.
Leads the analytics teams in the development and enhancement of algorithms, predictive models and statistical analyses targeting the identification of anti-fraud, waste and abuse claims, trends and patterns.
Designs, develops and maintains the business intelligence reporting artifacts and potential applications.
Accountable for delivering custom and standard analytic solutions on time and within budget and exceeding client expectations.
Develops department KPIs that will be used as the basis for measuring the success of the analytics team e.g. algorithm and model performance, analyst effectiveness, algorithm scope and penetration measures, etc.
Proactively forecast needs and assigns resources accordingly
Institutes a quality program and measurement system
REQUIREMENTS:
Healthcare experience preferably with knowledge of healthcare claims processing platforms
Knowledge of standard industry coding systems such as CPT, ICD-9, and UB04 Codes
Prefer engineering or Business process background
Innovative, creative and able to think outside the box.
Ability to prioritize and manage multiple projects simultaneously
Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Power Point)
Professional with ability to properly handle confidential information
Ability to work well independently and in a team environment.
