The Vice-President Services - Asia is instrumental in positioning and implementing FreeBalance solution in the Asia Region. This includes being responsible for supporting sales initiatives, defining metrics and processes; implement the professional services strategy including Consulting and Customer Support.
Main Responsibilities:
- Work with all Project Managers in the region to help achieve the best utilization of project resources and coordinate activities
- Liaise with the development team to ensure that appropriate information about the delivery, implementation and support of new products and updates is given to customers
- Promote, maintain, and strengthen contacts and relationships with Partners to support project activities
- Provide support to the Vice-President Sales Asia region in the delivery of alliance sales presentations and proposals
- Create and execute project work plans and revise as appropriate to meet changing needs and requirements
- Participate and support RFP/ ROI activities
- Define metrics and process to meet the contractual obligations of the Contract
- Identify resources needed and assign individual responsibilities
- Assess and minimize our exposure and risk on project, including financial controls for the project
- Effectively apply project management best practices and techniques
- Manage program execution to include internal/external process improvement
- Provide high quality consulting services
- Perform other related duties as assigned
- Travel as required
Education and Experience:
- The ideal candidate will be a graduate from university specializing in Finance and/or Business Administration or equivalent discipline, with experience in IT
- 8-10 years experience in Project Management and Product Development (enterprise software preferable)
- Strong project management skills and methodology. (Asset: PMP Certification.)
- MUST have previous experience working in/for the Public Sector
- Previous experience working with large scale sales processes and execution of implementation programs
- Knowledge of Enterprise Applications and Software industry, Portals, DB's, ERP's, CRM's, SCS, DW's, SOA, BPM, IM, etc.
- Demonstrated experience working with an implementation team in deploying software applications, gathering and documenting client's requirements, particularly for the implementation of software applications
- Ability to deliver large scale projects, meet deadlines and effectively interact with other areas and partners when needed
- Strong business acumen
- Demonstrated ability to approach complex problems
- Strong analytical skills and proven ability to identify and resolve problems
- Ability to work with and influence peers, corporate and partners that are not under direct control
- The successful candidate MUST be willing to travel and MUST read, write and speak English fluently
