a) Key Objective / Purpose of the Job:
Overall responsibility of being the liaison and advocate for the end users of Qlikview (ETL, Data modeling & Dashboarding).
b) Major Activities
Work closely with the users to understand the current state of information availability in the enterprise and then identify future needs based on the analysis of business requirements, current state environments, gap analysis, and future state.
Ensure development as per user requirements and address issues while controlling scope.
Responsible for ensuring that the final data/ report implementation will meet the user expectations.
Responsible for overall coordination of user acceptance testing and training
Procedure and Query writing in SLQ and Oracle to write script.
Providing Qlikview support within acceptable TAT
Data Modeling (Scripting) using QlikView
QlikView Dashboard Development (preferably version 10 / 11)
Server / Publisher Administration and Maintenance
II) Person Specification:
a) Essential Qualifications:
Master degree from a reputed university
MCA preferred
b) Requisite Skills:
Technical
Thorough understanding ETL processing methods, underlying data warehouse data models, security, Macro writing and capabilities of the front-end delivery products
Experience in QlikView Projects (involved in the complete lifecycle from requirement gathering, data modeling scripting, developing and testing dashboards using QlikView)
Knowledge of QlikView Licensing is a must
Experience on QlikView API and SDK
Experience in QlikView Installation (Desktop as well as Server)
Experience on QlikView migration and Knowledge on QlikView Mobile will be an added advantage
Should be capable of doing Advanced Server Management (like Clustering, Load Balancing, User Management, SSO Implementation etc)
Software Development Knowledge: Windows and Web software development. VB 6.0, .Net, DLL
Database: Good hands on knowledge of DBMS & RDBMS SQL/Oracle/DB2
Experience in hardware / software sizing will be an added advantage
Knowledge of other BI Dashboarding Tools will also be an added advantage
