Responsible for preparation of HSE plan and implementing the same at all locations according to Company's HSE policy statement.
Thorough understanding of Safety Culture Ladder and accordingly set targets to achieve each level in a time bound manner.
Thorough understanding of Integrated Management System (ISO (9001 & 14001) & OHSAS 18001).
Well conversant with relevant codes for carrying out Internal and External Safety Audit .(IS14489, OISD 145, T4S) .
Ensure that high-risk activities like Confined Space entry, Energy Isolation, hot work,, commissioning and decommissioning of critical equipments etc. are carried out in a safe manner with strict adherence to the Permit to work System. ( OISD 105).
Monitoring & ensuring the quality, adequacy, compliance of various PPEs at site as per the company's PPE policy.
He will be responsible for updating the ERDMP, and carry out mock drills at sites etc, (In line with ERDMP regulations 2010 of PNGRB).
Responsible for EIA ,QRA, HAZID, HAZOP, HAC, etc.
Provide assistance to the Project and Operation Departments in Liaisoning with Local Fire Department , Police and Civic Bodies & during the Safety and Technical Feasibility Visits, Pre Commissioning visits etc.
To assess the relevant subcontractors for verifying their compliance to the applicable project HS&E requirements.
Lead in the investigation of employee concerns, Incidents, and Employee Observations/Near Misses, along with corrective action development, implementation and follow-up and ensure proper records are completed and submitted
Serve as the Division expert within the field of HSE when called upon to address regulatory.
Actively participate in the scheduling of safety meetings across Company locations to review HSE performance and policies.
Desired Candidate Profile
minimum 09-14 years of experience
UG - B.Tech/B.E. - Electrical, Mechanical) or Graduate in any field with Diploma in Industrial safety with NEBOSH/IOSH/OSHAS (Doctorate - Any Doctorate - Any Specialization, Doctorate Not Required)
The candidate should have minimum 5-8 years of experience in Occupational Safety, and Health or Safety Environment ,hazard management, supervision of safety programs, preparation of safety plan and guidelines with OSHA certification or Trainings, Managerial position would be prioritized.
-Experience in Oil, Gas and petrochemical, infrastructure projects.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
Masters Degree
EHS certificates such as CSP, ASP, CHMM or similar
He should be well conversant with applicable standards being followed in the Oil & gas/ city gas distribution to meet the PNGBRB Safety rules & regulations, OISD 179, Gas Cylinder Rules and Petroleum Rules, . Should have knowledge of ISO 9001, ISO 14001, OHSAS 18001.
