Fearing escalation in hostilities between the United States and Iran following US airstrikes killed Iran's General Qasem Soleimani, Twitterati started trending World World 3 (WWIII). Thousands even posted funny comments and memes on the trend. The trend started after the Pentagon confirmed that the airstrike was done at the behest of President Donald Trump.
