The Supreme Court is hearing the anticipatory bail plea of Teesta Setalvad and her husband.
Gujarat police want to question them in a case of alleged misappropriation of funds worth Rs 1.5 crore meant for rehabilitation of post-Godhra riot victims.

Setalvad's plea is being heard by a bench of Justices Dipak Misra and Adarsh Goel.
Earlier, she had got a stay from arrest by the top court till February 19. This after Gujarat high court had refused to grant any relief to them.

In a rare decision, Chief Justice HL Dattu had assigned the anticipatory bail plea of Setalvad to a new bench even though none of the two judges on the earlier bench, which had stayed her arrest till Thursday, had sought recusal from the hearing.
