CHANDIGARH: The special CBI court on Wednesday allowed Sirsa-based Dera Sacha Sauda head Gurmeet Ram Rahim Singh to travel abroad for the promotion of movie 'MSG: The Messenger of God'. While allowing the dera head to travel USA, UK, Canada, New Zealand, Australia and Dubai between February 20 and March 3, CBI judge Rakesh Kumar Yadav also asked him to furnish surety bonds of Rs 30 lakh.
After many controversies, the feature film starring the sect head is scheduled to be released on Friday. Amid protests from various Sikh organizations, the Censor Board has given a clean chit to movie after renaming the title.
