"We are getting a lot of support in Coimbatore. So we really feel it is a big step towards clean politics in the country," said a party worker.
Though the celebrations were a low-key affair here, the cadres plan to organize a rally on the day Arvind Kejriwal swears in as the Delhi chief minister.
"After getting permissions, we will hold a rally on the Avinashi road on February 14 when Arvind Kejriwal swears in as the chief minister of New Delhi," said party district secretary S Mohammad Rafi.
"Residents who passed by our office congratulated us and were visibly happy about the outcome. Many came by themselves and asked for sweets," said Rafi.
"People have valued 49 days of our good work in Delhi higher than BJP's nine months of governance at the Centre. We are extremely happy," he added.
