Speaking after releasing the Telangana Non-Gazetted Officers diary for 2015 at Ravindra Bharathi, the chief minister said that the role played by the employees in the agitation for the creation of Telangana was without parallel and laudable.
"We are an employee-friendly government," he said adding that the administration would also institute a mechanism whereby couples working in the government would be posted in the same city or town.
The chief minister also called for patience among the employees and the people of the state with regard to implementation of various schemes. He said many of the welfare schemes announced by the government will take some time before reaching the beneficiaries.
"So far, we have managed with a mere handful of officers for administering the state. Once the division of employees is completed and postings are done, then things will pick up speed and the government will be able to deliver on its promises," he said.
