NEW DELHI: Thirteen CRPF personnel including two officers were killed on Monday when Maoists ambushed them in Chhattisgarh's Sukna district.
According to reports, the Maoists, using villagers as human shields, opened fire at the CRPF patrolling party.
The deceased include a deputy commandant and an assistant commandant of CRPF. All deceased belonged to 223 Battalion of the force.
