SC asks UP govt to pay Rs 5 lakh more to kin of 2006 Meerut fire victims

The Supreme Court has asked the UP government to pay Re 5 lakh more interim compensation to the kin of 65 people who were charred to death at a massive fire at a fair in Meerut in 2006.
