VARANASI: Targeting Narendra Modi, BSP chief Mayawati said that the entire country would feel the heat of communalism if he (Modi) becomes the Prime Minister.
Addressing an election rally at Rabertsganj in Sonbhadra district on Sunday, Mayawati said that a person who is known for the massacre in Gujarat is contesting parliamentary election to become PM. "Pura desh sampradayikta ki aag mein jalne lagega agar who PM ban gaya," she said. She called upon the dalits and Muslims to unite to stop Modi. Maya also criticised the SP supremo Mulayam Singh Yadav and UP chief minister Akhilesh Yadav. Mayawati also played Purvanchal card and said that she had forwarded the proposal of a separate state to the Centre but no attention was paid to it.
