Pardon to Punjab minister Bikram Singh Majithia after sewa, another Nanded edict says

AMRITSAR: A day after declaring Punjab cabinet minister Bikram Singh Majithia as tankhaiya, Takht Hazur Sahib jathedar Giani Kulwant Singh on Monday issued another "hukamnama" (edict), saying the SAD leader would be pardoned him if he underwent "sewa" (religious atonement).

The edict, signed by Bhai Kulwant Singh, Bhai Jotinder Singh, Bhai Kashmir Singh, Giani Avtar Singh Sheetal and Bhai Ram Singh, stated that they held a meeting after receiving a written apology from Majithia, wherein he stated that he would undergo the 'sewa' after the general elections.

The Sikh priests said Majithia should be granted apology since he had realized his mistake and tendered an apology. "When he completes the 'sewa', he would be pardoned," the edict read. Meanwhile, Majithia stated that he would go to Hazur Sahib on May 1 to clarify his position.
