Addressing a huge gathering in the heart of Siddhauli on the busy Lucknow-Bareilly National Highway, Modi said, "At a time when the entire country is looking at all the options of who would be the next PM, the current PM is out of the poll fray," Modi said amidst a round of applause from the audience, which started swelling, the moment his chopper landed in a government college in Siddhauli.
"The Congressmen have now started shouting slogans — Modi aayaa bhaago (run Modi has come). These people are running because they lack the moral courage to look into the eyes of the people of the country, whom they have deceived in the past one decade," Modi said.
Commenting on the recent statements made by PM Manmohan Singh, Modi said, "It is indeed good that PM had spoken in Guwahati." He further added that when the PM was asked to comment on Modi wave, he categorically denied any such Modi wave. "Oh my dear PM, how will you see the wave, when in past one decade, you have been unable to see price rise, corruption, misgovernance and gross insult meted to soldiers on Pakistan border, whose heads were cut," the BJP's prime ministerial candidate said and added, "However, I do not blame you. After all, your job is not to see. In fact, that is the job of the mothers-son duo."
He went to add that in the past more than 60 years, it is the rulers, who had ruled the country, and added, "I am demanding only 60 months from you, so that I can serve you."
