CCTVs in interrogation room, Kejriwal releases AAP manifesto, promises police reforms

NEW DELHI: Arvind Kejriwal on Thursday released Aam Aadmi Party's manifesto for the Lok Sabha elections.

"We have tried to include all suggestions received from people," Kejriwal said while releasing the party's manifesto here.


The former Delhi chief minister promised decentralization of political power and promised reforms in education system, health sector.


Promising police reforms, Kejriwal said, "Our govt will put CCTV in police stations. We will put cameras in interrogation rooms. Anybody can ask for that footage using right to information."


"AAP would fight for the transfer of Delhi Police to the state government," the former Delhi CM said.


Kejriwal also spoke of fast-track courts at all levels of judiciary.


The AAP leader highlighted the various administrative reforms that the party proposes to pursue if voted to power.


"The Jan Lokpal Bill should cover everyone from the peon to the PM, Kejriwal said, adding, there will be no compromise on the issue of corruption.
