Assistant Manager-banquet Sales- The Lalit Chandigarh-preopening Hotel, 2 - 6 years exp, Chandigarh

OPERATIONAL RESPONSIBILITIES

Assists in achieving the Annual Revenue plan


Implement the standard operating procedures to improve the process & performance


Assists for planning and development the marketing and promotional strategies for increase the sales and


revenue


Generate reports for the effectiveness of the marketing and sales plan


Implement special programs for increase average room rate , overall occupancy, business volume during


off-peak periods, local Food & Beverage and Banquet Sales


Assist to conduct Market research and develop new marketing strategies.


Assist to organize and co ordinate all major sales/ PR related functions to ensure high awareness of the


hotel in the national and international media


Ensure to promote special projects to stimulate Food & beverage sales


Maintain communicate with government tourist offices, local hotel associations, convention bureaus,


airlines, travel agents, Tour Operators, competitors and other members of the local community.


Ensure the selling and servicing of all group business


Ensure monthly sales and forecast report to send to the management


Analysis the potential markets through review sales and front office correspondence, guest questionnaires,


government statistics on visitors, competition's sales/promotion efforts , various reference and industry


publications for sales leads


Ensure monitoring of competitors activities and strategies and assists in marketing intelligence


Ensure sell to new, existing and prospective customers in consideration with the sales strategy, negotiating


optimum rate for the benefit of the business


Services existing business through management of account bases


Maintain and develop a regular pattern of sales calls, meeting with principals of target market


Ensure conduct client interviews and entertain the clients


Organize and conduct familiarization tours and site inspections


Plan travel to promote the hotel and develop potential business


Ensure regular review the existing business and sales strategy meetings to maximize business


Coordinate with operations on a timely basis to ensure complete customer satisfaction


Initiates and prepares tenders for business


Review all the sales and marketing data


Ensure daily reports from the sales and marketing team members to understand the effectiveness of the


sales.
