The couple had moved the high court seeking a stay on the release of the movie, purportedly based on the murder case. A division bench of Justice VM Kanade and Justice Anil Menon on Tuesday adjourned the case to March 10 so that the producers of the film could respond to the request.
Meanwhile, the censor board told the high court that 'Rahasya' is a work of fiction and does not bear any resemblance to the Aarushi murder case. The film deals with the murder of a Mumbai girl following which her father is charged with the murder. He is acquitted but is later killed.
Aarushi and their house help Hemraj were found murdered at the Talwars' residence in Noida in 2008. A sessions court convicted the dentist couple for their daughter's murder. The Talwars' appeal is pending before the Delhi high court.
