Property Management Engineer (cost Auditor - Valuation), 2 - 7 years exp, Mumbai Suburbs, Bengaluru/Bangalore


Location : Vashi Navi Mumbai


Shifts: Night (US Shifts)

Responsibilities include:


Consults with customers to develop the most efficient repair and maintenance practices, ensuring the highest quality performance to vendors, customers, and internal stakeholders.


Evaluates inspections performed for properties. Determines and recommends repairs to be performed for each property.


Prepare and interpret bid and work item requests made by vendor, customer, to ensure bid and work item consistency with intent of requestor


Evaluates bids for property repairs. Verifies that bids are appropriate for work to be performed, determines repair activity to be performed, and the vendor to perform such repair.


Evaluates completed work submitted by vendors to ensure work quality, consistency against work requested, and turn-around-time for work performed.


Develops and executes training program that includes interaction with the operations team and providing feedback on vendor performance as well as the performance of the production teams in requesting, approving, and reviewing, bid and repair requests.


Consults with clients at various stages to discuss repair recommendations.


Establishes and maintains client relationships and seeks to grow, broaden, and enhance the customer relationship with Altisource Portfolio Solutions.


Key Result Areas:


Review bid and work orders and perform follow up as necessary to achieve desired turn-around time and quality performance metrics.


Ensure 100% of properties under contract with repair requests close on the scheduled date. In order to accomplish this, repair requests must be reviewed with the sales consultant and agreed upon. Post repair completion, evidence must be reviewed to ensure consistency between requested work and completed work.


Ensure 98% work quality performance, measured by scope of work performed at or better than that which was requested.


Perform Quality control on completed bid and work items, provide input to creation of vendor scorecard to be utilized for future order assignments.


Qualifications:


Bachelor's degree in civil engineering required.


Minimum of 2 to 3 years experience in residential or commercial real estate, preferably construction.


Candidate must have the ability to work independently with high level of focus on detail.


Proficiency with MS Office applications is mandatory.


Candidate must have strong verbal and written communication skills.


Must possess the ability to maintain a high rate of accuracy and productivity, as well as the ability to multitask and function under deadlines in a fast past environment.
