Manager - Agricultural Farm, 8 - 13 years exp, Bhillai

Job Profile:

Responsible for providing efficient administration of a 1000 Acre Agricultural Farm and make it as a profit centre, by implementing scientific farming methods .


This position requires a strong, practical knowledge of agricultural skills and farm management. The manager has primary responsibility for the planning, coordination and implementation of all work and activities relating to efficient management of the farm.


Job Description.


- Result oriented and responsible for planning, organising and managing the activities of a farm to meet the objectives of the owner.


- planning finances and production to maintain farm progress against budget parameters.


- The Farm Manager will develop and manage all aspects of the


Farm production fields including growing organic vegetables, fruits and


herbs; identifying and selling in local markets and on-site.


- Buying supplies, such as fertilizer and seeds;


- Arranging the maintenance and repair of farm buildings, machinery and equipment;


- Controlling farm labours, manpower planning, planning activities for trainee staff, mentoring and monitoring them;


- Maintaining and monitoring the quality of yield, whether livestock or arable crops;


- Understanding the implications of the weather and making contingency plans;


- Ensuring that farm activities comply with government regulations;


applying health and safety standards across the farm estate;


- Monitoring and documenting all yields and land use to meet funding requirements;


- keeping financial records up to date.


Qualifications:


M.Sc in Agriculture/ B.Tech Agriculture.


Experience:


A person of proven professional competency and managerial ability in running a Farm of around 1000 Acres or more.


Age:


Preferably around 40 to 45 years .


Remuneration:


As per qualification and experience.
