JOB DESCRIPTION:

1. Proposed Position - Chemist

2. Function / Business Unit - R & D

3. Designation - Executive

4. Reporting - Head, R&D Center

5. Location Kolshet Road, Thane

6. Age - Upto 25 years

7. Qualification - M. Sc (POLYMER CHEMISTRY) - First Class

8. Experience - 2-3 years

Skills / Knowledge required

1. Performing synthetic organic chemistry experiments; experience with synthesis of monomers and polymers desirable

2. Experience with different polymerization techniques

3. Strong theoretical understanding & know - how of chemistry of monomers and polymers

4. Consistently excellent academic record from SSC onwards

5. Excellent English communication Skills - written and verbal

6. Ability to work in teams and adapt to changes in project requirement

7. Computer proficiency in Ms Word, Excel and powerpoint

Purpose of Job - Support Specialty Polymer Lab in Synthesis of new monomers and polymers for various industrial applications

Job Profile

1. Conducting Laboratory Experimentation

2. Conducting literature search on assigned research and development project related topics

3. Documentation of test methods and test results

4. Implementation of laboratory best practices for safe working

5. Assisting in lab documentation for internal & external audits

6. Manage laboratory consumables and equipment
