1 Orchestrate the activities of the staff to ensure that guests receive a high level of service, sales are maximized and employees are satisfied
2 Oversee all aspect of the resort operations, including front office, restaurants, kitchen, housekeeping, engineering, laundry etc.
3 To run efficiently and smoothly the back of house admin operations ensuring all relevant management, reservations, financial, health and safety and fire precaution systems are managed in an organized and efficient fashion.
4 Customer Service - Interact with guests on a daily basis to ensure their peak satisfaction. Continue to help innovate based on their input. Ensure that resort employees comply with any customer service standards, policies, or initiatives. Diplomatically and competently handle complaints, conflict and crisis management Measure improvements in satisfaction ratings in all aspects.
5 Supervision of Employees - This includes hiring, training, coaching, disciplining, and assessing performance related to staff members' functions within the resort which will help employees deliver excellent performance and to reach their personal development goals.
6 Budget - Plan, forecast and budget the revenues and costs of the resort. Track the spending of the resort, ensuring that it operates within budgetary guidelines. He/ she will also be in charge of setting rates for rooms, prices for meals, and fees for other services
7 Sales & Marketing - coordinate the efforts of resort sales representatives to attain its sales goals. This may involve supervising, coaching, and training sales staff as well as personally meeting with large prospective customers for lodging, meetings, and events.
8 Administer all conservation & community efforts in the vicinity.
10 Provide leadership and motivation to the team.
Complete understanding of resort operations
