Responsible for attending meetings and in services to enhance coding knowledge, compliance skills, and maintenance of credentials
Leads the team to achieve project milestones and department objectives
Assumes responsibility of overseeing the day-to-day activities of the team members
Coaches, motivates, guides team members and provides front-line supervision
Conducts performance reviews and developmental programs of the team members
Plans and delegates or allocates work of the team in coding process.
Monitor and ensure standards on accuracy, service and results of team.
Ensures team is meeting and exceeding contractual and service level obligations to customer
Resolves or address the issues elevated by team members.
Builds strong relationships with customers and across work areas to improve services and ensure service levels are being met
Applies research, information gathering and analytical skills to complex activities and issues
Collects customer needs and translates to appropriate solutions
Assesses accuracy and adherence to process guidelines
Tracks and maintains regular and ad hoc reports
Will spend a small portion of the time performing the work of the team
Provides expertise and guidance on technical or procedural issues
Provides recommendations for improvement in coding process for continuous quality improvement
Develops tactical plans, schedules, and key milestones.
Monitors daily progress/status and makes adjustments/corrections to ensure optimal performance and service.
