Associate-community Outreach, 1 - 4 years exp, Bengaluru/Bangalore


Job Description


The position will be based in Bangalore. As an Associate Community outreach in the online team, your role would comprise one or more of the following:


Build community and stakeholder partnerships to promote www.ichangemycity.com and www.ipaidabribe.com with both the citizens (communities) and the government bodies.


Coordinate, and/or arrange and/or attend outreach activities such as community forums, fairs, and festivals, events to provide information and build network;


Develop, manage and engage with volunteers who are associated with the program.


Administrative support to connect and engage with the government agencies, to coordinate with reports, complaints and communication sent to them through our websites.


Maintain accurate records of events, reach, contact information, etc. in a database;


Coordinate with various programs of Janaagraha to build program driven initiatives on the online platforms


Coordinate with the product team, the online and offline marketing activities to build a cohesive outreach initiative towards planning outreach campaigns, with a seamless coordination with all the channels.


Qualifications and Experience


Tangible


Graduation in any field, marketing knowledge will be preferred at a graduate or post graduate level.


1-3 years of experience in marketing/ sales with on field experience in selling a product, technology or service or MLM ( Multi-Level marketing) companies


Working knowledge of spreadsheets and Microsoft Office with a demonstrated track record of high-performance.


Intangible


You should enjoy meeting people and be a good communicator.


You should be a patient listener and be able to connect with citizens of all sections of society.


You should be passionate about sustainability of an idea or an endeavour and about improvement of our civic attitude.

Tender SURE has become part of the official vocabulary on road specifications in Karnataka

3 Urban Capacity Building MoU with the IAS Academy in Mussoorie on their urban curriculum, by developing case studies on urban governance.


III Empowered and Legitimate Political Representation


4 Jaagte Raho! MoU with Election Commission of India on fixing systemic challenges in urban voter rolls.


IV Transparency, Accountability and Participation


5 P.R.O.O.F Inclusion of Public Disclosure Law as mandatory reform condition in JNNURM


Over 20 states have enacted PDL


Drawing up and subsequently advocating into policy the Service Level Benchmark framework for urban services


Collaboration with the CAG of India and the ICAI on Performance Reporting Framework for cities


6 Ward Quality Score


An Index of quality of life in neighbourhoods Requirement of Community Participation Law (CPL), another mandatory reform condition included in JNNURM pursuant to Janaagrahas advocacy


Over 20 states have enacted the CPL. Hyderabad has implemented the same in spirit by constituting Area Sabhas.
