We have a opening with our client for Pune location for Netezza DBA position.

Netezza DBA:

Job Description Should be able to able to perform regular DB maintenance activities like DB reboots, deployments, backup/restore etc. for Netezza database

Should be able to create Database and associated objects

Should be proficient with Netezza bulk load (Nzload) and NzSQL

Should be able to work on performance optimization at query level and DB level

Impact analysis of DB/Server migration

Regular health check of DBs

Qualification BE Comp Science, MCA, MCM

Experience (No. of years) 3 to 5 Year

Mandatory Skills Good knowledge of Netezza database maitenance activities

Good knowledge of performamce tuning at the query and DB level

Good Knowledge of Netezza Database and associated DB objects

Good Knowledge of NXLOAD and NZSQL

Good knowledge of UNIX

Desired Skills Any ETL Tool (SSIS, Informatica)

Any Reporting Tool (SSRS, WebFOCUS)

Knowledge of Data Warehousing concepts
