Second suspect of Patna blasts succumbs to injuries

NEW DELHI: The second suspect of the Patna blast case, who was critically injured while planting the bombs, succumbed to injuries in a Patna hospital on Monday, according to TV reports.

"The suspect was admitted to the ICU in a critical condition," Patna police said.

Six persons were killed and around 100 injured at the crowded venue of Narendra Modi's rally in Patna yesterday in a suspected terror attack.

The serial bomb attack is suspected to be the handiwork of Indian Mujahideen (IM).

Four alleged operatives of the Indian Mujahideen were detained yesterday in connection with the blasts.
