Reporting to: Executive Director.
RESPONSIBILITY
Assist the Executive Director in overseeing the day-to-day management, coordination and implementation of the organizations entire activities.
LEADERSHIP & MANAGEMENT:
Provide leadership and direction for all staff, setting an effective agenda and ensuring performance goals are met and set.
Lead, coach, develop the team and ensure effective systems to track scaling progress.
Regularly evaluate program components and measure successes that can be effectively communicated to the Executive Director.
Develop and maintain strategic direction for both ongoing local operations as well as for the national rollout.
Provide technical guidance to staff ensuring quality reports and accountabilities are prepared and submitted in time.
Ensure ongoing local programmatic excellence, rigorous program evaluation, and consistent quality of finance and administration, fundraising, communications, and systems; recommend timelines and resources needed to achieve the strategic goals.
PROJECTS & PROGRAMS:
Create strategic plan on the development of the existing SEESHA programs
Develop new programs and prepare strategies on implementing the same.
Hold regular projects review meetings with staff to evaluate activities progress and provide feedback on performance
Monitor progress of projects deliverables and take a lead role in the preparation of programmatic reports.
FUNDRAISING/DONOR DEVELOPMENT:
Monitor fund flow and develop Fund raising strategies as per the requirements of the organization from time-to-time.
Expand local revenue generating and fundraising activities to support existing program operations and regional expansion
Deepen and refine all aspects of communicationsfrom web presence to external relations with the goal of creating a stronger brand.
Use external presence and relationships to garner new opportunities
Provides guidance, as requested by the Executive Director, for fundraising and donor management, business development and partnership activities;
Effectively represent the Executive Director at workshops and conferences and participate in national and international level meetings.
Develop and maintain networks with donors, partners agencies, government ministries and districts for resource sharing.
FINANCE :
Monitor fund flow for the projects as per allocations made in the budget.
Ensure fund flow to the tie-up organizations are allocated on time as per the agreement and monitor the fund flow.
Scrutinize work plans and budgets developed by project officers.
Develop and monitor operational budgets, ensuring smooth and timely flow of resources to the beneficiaries and field activities.
Ensure all Taxations, renewal of licenses, contracts, are made on time.
COMMUNICATIONS & MEDIA:
Coordinate the preparation of papers for publication and dissemination in consultation with the Executive Director.
Coordinate in the mobilization of resources for the organization through proposal writing and fundraising drives from potential donors.
Ensure Media department develops documentaries from time-to-time as per organization requirement and is being aired regularly.
Ensure all promotional documents developed are in-line with the organizations norms.
PLANNING & NEW BUSINESS:
Design the national expansion and complete the strategic business planning process for the program expansion into new areas
Begin to build partnerships/tie-ups with other NGOs, strategic partners in new areas as per the organizations policies.
Establish relationships with the partners, and political and community leaders at each project/program areas.
Be an external local and national presence that publishes and communicates program results with an emphasis on the successes of the local program as a model for regional and national replication.
Carry-out any other duty assigned by the Executive Director.
DESIRED QUALIFICATION & EXPERIENCE
Post graduate in social work with 10-15 plus years of experience.
Prior worked as Director/Deputy director for a NGO would be preferred.
Proven record of excellent leadership qualities.
Preferably aged around 40-45 years.
