City police heaved a sigh of relief at his sudden departure. He was scheduled to stay here till August, 30, 2013.
AB Patel, police inspector, Surat airport said, " We were surprised but he left the city by a private carrier scheduled flight to Mumbai at 8.30am."
Asaram landed in Surat on Tuesday night and drove straight to his ashram located in Jahangirpura area of the city .
He addressed a 50,000-strong gathering of followers on Wednesday in which he indirectly blamed the top leadership of the country for supporting the crusade against him.
Asaram claimed that all the allegations were a part of a larger conspiracy to defame him.
He reiterated to his devotees at his Ashram that the 15 year old minor is like his grand daughter.
Media people were pushed out of ashram on Wednesday morning when they attempted to take Asaram's reaction.
However sources close to the Ashram said that he would present himself before police in Rajasthan on August, 30, 2013.
