JAMNAGAR: Six Pakistani fishermen were caught by the Coast Guard sleuths after their boat intruded into Indian waters near Jamnagar coast in Gujarat on Sunday.
"Six Pakistani fishermen were caught when their boat intruded into Indian waters near Jamnagar coast," a Coast Guard official said.
The detained fishermen are likely to be interrogated tomorrow, he said.
Earlier, Pakistan Maritime Security Agency (MSA) had apprehended 82 Indian fishermen along with their 13 boats in two different incidents in the recent past.
Indian and Pakistani anglers are frequently detained on the charge of violation of territorial waters as the two countries' borders are not clearly defined in the Arabian Sea.
