OVERVIEW OF THE CLAIMS RESOLUTION SPECIALIST

Z-Axiss clients works with hundreds of healthcare providers to help facilitate the care of over 150,000 patients per year. One of our key functions is to ensure timely and complete payment from third party payors. We are looking for a Claims Resolution Specialist to perform activities that maximize insurance reimbursement and promote faster payment.

We want hardworking, high integrity, team players to be responsible for:

Day-to-day interaction with Health Plans and Providers via email, and fax

Obtain status updates on all open claims over 30 days and ensure any necessary actions are communicated to providers in a timely fashion

Initiate appeals and claims reprocessing projects as needed and in a timely manner

Act as a resource for providers in the area of billing (i.e. documentation requirements, necessary modifiers, doc-tor.com training, etc)

Support other departments ad-hoc reporting needs as needed

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

High School Diploma required; bachelors degree preferred

0-3years experience billing/collecting receivables for DME and/or O&P companies; familiarity with ICD-9, HCPCS, and medical terminology

Prior work experience in Healthcare domain

Strong Microsoft Office skills (Excel in particular), as well as proficiency with using practice management software (Doc-tor.com experience is highly preferred)

Ability to learn new programs/software quickly

Exceptional communications skills verbal and written English fluency (verbal and written) is a MUST

Highly detail-oriented with excellent organizational/time-management skills
