On February 4, she was taken to Jawaharlal Nehru Cancer Research Hospital for treatment from Pandit Khushilal Ayurveda Hospital, where she has been admitted since a month. Pragya was brought back to Pandit Khusilal Ayurveda Hospital on Wednesday.
Kin of Pragya Singh Thakur, Bhagwan Jha said, "Cancer is probably spreading to other sites. Doctors has told that now FNAC is not possible so PET test will be conducted and that could be done only in Indore."
"Since she is in custody, permission from police will decide when she will be taken for test," Jha said.
"But her condition is worsening," he said.
Experts said positron emission tomography (PET) test for cancer is done to check whether it has spread to other sites or not.
Dr Umesh Shukla of Pandit Khusilal Sharma Ayurvedic College said, "She has been referred for further tests at Indore" and refused to divulge further.
She has been in custody since year 2008 when she was arrested by Maharasthra police in connection with Malegaon blasts. Later she was arrested by MP police from JJ Hospital in Mumbai on February 27, 2011, for RSS pracharak Sunil Joshi's murder.
