"It is the decision of the party. It should be implemented ," was the blunt message that Digvijay is said to have given to the state leaders present in the meeting. The AICC general secretary, who met the state leaders individually once earlier before the formal meeting commenced, hinted that the Congress would not hesitate to take alternative course of action in order to make sure that the T-process reached its logical conclusion, sources said.
The coordination committee meeting, attended by chief minister Kiran kumar Reddy, PCC president Botsa Satyanarayana , deputy chief minister C Damodara Rajanarasimha, Union tourism minister K Chiranjeevi and AICC secretary S Thirunavukkarasu besides Digvijay reportedly witnessed heated arguments between Kiran and Chiranjeevi on the one side and Rajanarasimha on the other.
The meeting was convened to strike a harmony between the Pradesh Congress Committee , which is toeing the party line on the bifurcation issue, and the Congress Legislature Party led by the CM which is championing the united state cause.
