Senior Associate - UAT, 4 - 9 years exp, Bengaluru/Bangalore

Role: UAT TEST MANAGER


Summary:


The UAT Test Manager will be responsible to deliver Quality thru User Acceptance Testing of Projects, Programs and Application Changes for Transaction Banking. The remit will span over Understanding Change, Participate and contribute to the Change Process, Train and lead a team, and be accountable for delivering testing Projects.


Requirement:


The candidate must have atleast 4 - 8 years of experience in Banking and Financial services with exposure to Project Management and Test Management. Also, must have atleast 3-5 years of experience in Transaction Banking Products and Services, Electronic Banking and Channels. A working knowledge of Cash Operations and Transaction processing will be an advantage.


Core Responsibilities:


Business Requirement Understanding and Review To work with Business Teams across products to understand the change requirement and interpret Specification documents to create testing content.


Release UAT Management To plan concurrent releases across products and list, assign, delegate and diligently track to closure deliverables spanning target applications, interfaces, and dependencies. To prepare content Traceability Matrices, Test Scenarios, Test Cases and manage a team of testers to execute the same.


Alignment with Program Office To be rightly aligned with Program and Project offices responsible for timely deliverance of change / testing projects. To maintain a very high level of accountability and transparency in running of the test assignments and be conscious of risks and means to mitigate the same.


Defect Management Review - Concurrent tracking of defects, understanding the impact of the same to the business, follow up for closure with respective teams and interpretation of criticality of defects.


Stakeholder Management To be able to manage a matrix stakeholder scenario where the delivery responsibilities could be aligned to overseas teams and operational responsibilities would reside domestically. Ability to manage Senior Stakeholders, engage in discussions, strategies, contribute to improvements to current processes as applicable. Stakeholders will span across Business, Technology, External Vendors and range from Analysts to Leadership level executives.


Strategic Metrics & Reporting - To be able to quantify planning and deliverables, analyse the metrics, derive patterns, strategise based on these metrics. Also, diligent measurement and broadcast of performance metrics to all stakeholders, sponsors to update them of the progress and ROI of the investment into the projects. Participation in Triage, Weekly, Month, CCB, Calls/Meetings.


People Management Set Objectives, Train, Mentor, Motivate teams and accountability for overall delivery.


Visibility - Engagement with Senior and Business Stakeholders and participation, contribution beyond Testing Lifecycle. And engagement in Hub Ops Improvement, Training, Product Inputs.
